He was with Yahoo! for three years, following its 2003 acquisition of Overture (previously GoTo.com), bringing 20 years of management experience to oversee a billion-dollar division with operations in 20 countries comprising nearly 1,000 employees.

Prior to Overture/Yahoo!, Brian was a Managing Director of Idealab, which created GoTo.com, and also President and CEO of Idealab Silicon Valley. Before joining Idealab, Brian served as president, chief operating officer, and director for On Command Corp., the world's largest provider of information and entertainment services to the lodging industry. Previously, Brian held senior executive positions at SBC Communications and Shearson Lehman Brothers.

In addition to VoloMedia, Brian currently serves on the board of directors for Pandora Media, and on the advisory boards of Care2, Dial Directions, and Sharpcast. Brian holds a B.A. in Economics and conducted graduate work in corporate strategy at Duke University, as well as international marketing and finance at the Pacific Asian Management Institute and negotiation at Harvard University.

Murgesh has worked both the technical and business sides of companies, leading product development for a billion dollar line of workstations at Silicon Graphics, spearheading business development of Liberate Technologies' penetration of the Asia-Pacific and European markets, and launching AudioFeast's consumer audio service.

He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University in India and an M.S. in Computer Science from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.


Mark Sheridan

Mark is a believer that content is king - having spent a dozen years in content driven business development, and more recently, showing off his mad iPhone skills. Prior to VoloMedia, Mark was VP of Business Development at Olive Software, a Sequoia company providing XML publishing solutions for major media companies.

During Mark's tenure he helped to grow the business by 50%. Before then, Mark was Director of Strategic Accounts at Autonomy, the market leader in enterprise search, spanning video, audio and documents. Mark spent several years at EMC Software as Manager of OEM/VAR Business Development and was Global Account Manager of the year in 2004. Mark joined EMC through the $1.6B acquisition of Documentum, the Gartner leader in Enterprise Content Management. Continuing a theme, Mark joined Documentum through the acquisition of eRoom, the Gartner leader in Collaboration and the largest private software M&A in 2002. Mark was born and raised in Boston and is a graduate of Harvard University.

Prior to VoloMedia, Peter led a research team at Yahoo! that was responsible for driving innovation in the social media space. Before Yahoo, he worked for BBN Technologies building real-time video monitoring systems for the US Military. Before then, Peter was a Technical Director at Virage where he developed award winning products that helped establish the video and multimedia search industry. Prior to Virage he spent over 6 years at SGI where he worked as an application consultant whose clients included Oracle, Adobe and AutoDesk. Peter holds a BS in Engineering from UC Berkeley.


Chitti Keswani

Sr. Director Technical Operations and Quality

Chitti keeps us all in line as he's responsible for scaling VoloMedia's technical infrastructure as well as overall product quality. He is a veteran in the software industry with experience leading engineering teams in companies such as Sun Microsystems, Informix, and Informatica.

Prior to VoloMedia, he led the quality effort for Informatica's flagship ETL product launching their biggest release in PowerCenter 8.0. Before then, he was Director of Professional Services at NetDynamics which was acquired by Sun Microsystems where he worked extensively on Application Servers and was part of the team building the 1st J2EE server by Sun. Chitti has Bachelors in Electronic Engineering from Bombay University and a Masters in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University. He is an avid cricket fan and follows the game round the world.
